  1. I love seeing these photos from 1972-75, the era when I got to know David. He was my sociology instructor (TA, I think) and I used to hang out after class to talk to him. I was an "older" student and struggling with school, work and raising kids, and he was so compassionate and funny, it always gave me a lift. Then years later I turned up in Huntsville and found him there and was delighted. I visited him and Marcy and the twins at Breckenridge ca. 1973 when the kids were just toddling. I'm so sad that he has left us.
